Key Responsibilities\n

In this critical role, you will be entrusted with the following key responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance abuse history and mental health conditions, utilizing standardized tools.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that address both addiction and co-occurring mental health issues, collaborating with clients to set achievable treatment goals.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions employing evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.

• Maintain open communication with the treatment team, contributing to case discussions and adjustments to treatment plans to enhance client outcomes.

• Provide psychoeducation and resources to clients’ families to foster support for the client’s recovery journey.

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements by maintaining accurate and confidential client records using electronic documentation systems.

You will work with a diverse range of individuals struggling with various forms of substance abuse, from alcohol dependence to opioid addiction. Our client population often includes those experiencing co-occurring mental health disorders, such as depression and anxiety, necessitating a comprehensive and empathetic approach to treatment.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A valid license as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD.

• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Demonstrable training or experience in addiction counseling and knowledge of best practices for treating substance use disorders.

• Exceptional therapeutic skills with a proven ability to motivate clients and foster a positive therapeutic alliance.

Preferred Experience\n
