The position operates on standard business hours, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., ensuring consistent availability for our clients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the severity and patterns of clients' mood disorder symptoms, employing structured tools and interviews to gather comprehensive data.

• Collaborate closely with clients to create individualized treatment plans that align with their specific needs, objectives, and preferences, ensuring an inclusive and client-centered approach.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address mood disorders and enhance client outcomes.

• Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment modalities, and effective self-care strategies, fostering empowerment and understanding.

• Continuously monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and feedback to ensure optimum therapeutic effectiveness.

• Cultivate partnerships with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care that addresses both mental and physical health needs recognized in our client population.

• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in the treatment of mood disorders, actively seeking ways to enhance and adapt therapeutic techniques.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring that documentation reflects the clients' progress and treatment decisions.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to contribute to a culture of learning and improvement.

• Advocate for clients within the broader framework of mental health awareness and stigma reduction, ensuring that their voices are heard and needs are met.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients include individuals and families struggling with a variety of mood disorders, including anxiety, depression, and bi-polar disorders, among others. Qualifications\n

• A current and active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related discipline.
