Forte Psychotherapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team in a fully remote setting. As a pivotal member of our organization, you will provide therapeutic support to clients experiencing mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder, helping them navigate their journeys toward improved mental health.

Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, providing you with the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home while still collaborating with a supportive team. You will engage with clients primarily via teletherapy but will also have the opportunity to conduct in-person sessions in an outpatient office setting when needed. Our organization believes in maintaining a healthy work-life balance, offering a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the severity, frequency, and impact of mood disorder symptoms among your clients.

• Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs, therapeutic goals, and personal preferences.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to deliver effective interventions.
\n
• Educate and engage both clients and their families regarding mood disorders, available treatment options, and essential self-care practices.
\n
• Monitor client progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
\n
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and medical professionals to coordinate integrated care for clients.
\n
• Stay informed on current research and advancements in the field of mood disorders to continually enhance treatment strategies.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring best practices in documentation.
\n
• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities to foster growth and collaboration within the team.

• Advocate for clients, addressing mental health stigma and ensuring their needs are met effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals suffering from mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Your clients may include those facing significant life challenges and circumstances like homelessness, refugee status, and experiences of domestic violence. By leveraging your skills and compassion, you will empower clients to overcome these barriers and enhance their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) .

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• Annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000 , commensurate with qualifications and experience.
