Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and evaluations to determine clients’ mental health status, identifying key issues and areas for therapeutic intervention.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that encompass evidence-based strategies tailored to each client’s needs and therapeutic goals.

• Facilitate regular individual and group therapy sessions, providing a supportive space for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and equipping them with coping strategies.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring that all documentation meets regulatory standards while reflecting the client’s progress and treatment modifications.

• Coordinate care with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and community resources, to advocate for the client’s comprehensive needs.
\n
• Assess risk levels in crisis situations and provide immediate crisis intervention support, ensuring client safety and appropriate follow-up.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will engage with a varied patient population, including individuals experiencing substance abuse issues, anxiety, depression, trauma histories, and eating disorders. Your expertise in mental health will be pivotal in helping clients navigate their challenges and achieve therapeutic progress, emphasizing empowerment and personal resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
\n
• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and intervention strategies.

• Strong familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and a commitment to integrating cultural competence into therapy practices.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems, with a solid grasp of utilizing technology for clinical documentation and communication.

• Exemplary interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with clients from various backgrounds, and fostering a trusted therapeutic alliance.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in a community health setting or similar environments where service delivery emphasizes inclusivity.

Compensation and Benefits\n
