Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through initial consultations, documenting findings accurately from start to finish.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based techniques to promote healing and growth.

• Monitor and document client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize outcomes.

• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses, to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to care.

• Manage referrals and therapeutic resources, providing clients and families with access to additional support when needed.

• Identify and mitigate potential barriers to recovery, helping clients navigate emotional and behavioral challenges.

• Engage with family members and primary caregivers to enhance their capacity to support clients’ mental health journeys.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patients come from a variety of backgrounds and face diverse mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. As a mental health counselor, you will work closely with these individuals and their families, engaging them in their treatment process and fostering a safe space to support their mental and emotional well-being. Your work will be instrumental in helping clients develop coping strategies and build resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Active and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote setting while managing case documentation and client communication.
\n
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, allowing for effective interaction with clients and interdisciplinary team members.

• Proficiency with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to ensure accurate and efficient documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience as a mental health counselor with a proven track record of successful client outcomes.

• Knowledge and experience in dealing with co-occurring disorders, domestic violence issues, and trauma-informed care.

• Familiarity with the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and national standards.

• In-depth understanding of pharmacological interventions and their mental health implications.
\n
• A background in working with diverse populations, including culturally specific approaches to care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
