Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations, including initial assessments and ongoing progress monitoring.

• Develop and customize treatment plans that align with clients' specific life situations and emotional needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapies and therapeutic modalities.

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation throughout the treatment process, from the initial intake to discharge summaries.

• Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

• Engage in proactive follow-up with clients regarding their progress, adapting treatment interventions as necessary.

• Educate and support family members and primary caregivers in understanding and managing mental health challenges.

• Identify and address barriers to recovery, ensuring a proactive approach to client care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated clinical experience in mental health counseling, showcasing a high level of competence in client interactions.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, particularly systems like AVATAR, to track client progress and maintain detailed records.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with clients dealing with issues related to addiction disorders or co-occurring disorders.

• Familiarity with the best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• A deep understanding of the interactions and side effects of medications commonly prescribed for mental health conditions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers an annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, along with a sign-on bonus.
