This full-time position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting while remaining connected to our outpatient office to ensure patients receive comprehensive and compassionate care. Work Environment\n

While therapists primarily work remotely, they also have the benefit of participating in in-person team meetings and training sessions at our Savannah office. We offer a structured work schedule, typically from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, while allowing flexibility to accommodate individual patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to identify patients' specific challenges, needs, and treatment goals.

• Design and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions that are tailored to each patient’s unique cultural background and personal experiences.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, assisting patients in exploring their mental health concerns and fostering coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to create a seamless continuum of care that promotes holistic healing.

• Provide crisis intervention and emergency support when necessary, ensuring that clients receive immediate and effective assistance.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, treatment options, and connect them with relevant community resources.

• Maintain comprehensive and precise case documentation, adhering to stringent legal and ethical standards throughout the therapy process.

• Engage actively in case conferences and training sessions, contributing to discussions on case management as well as cultural competency.

• Stay current with emerging research and best practices in mental health treatment, ensuring that therapeutic approaches remain effective and relevant.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.
