Union Counseling Center is actively seeking dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapists to join our team in Brockton, Massachusetts. Our innovative outpatient office operates in a remote setting, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while still maintaining robust connections with our patients and team members. The regular work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility in hours to accommodate patient needs. You will be provided with the necessary tools and technology to thrive in a virtual work environment, ensuring seamless communication and care delivery.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments to ascertain the needs and challenges faced by patients, leading to the development of tailored treatment plans that prioritize their goals.

• Deliver a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, facilitating healing through structured guidance.
\n
• Organize and facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups designed to foster a sense of community and understanding among patients grappling with similar mental health issues.
\n
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, psychiatrists, and fellow therapists to ensure coordinated care and comprehensive support for our patients.

• Provide crisis intervention services, ensuring that patients experiencing acute mental health challenges receive timely and effective support.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, various treatment options, and relevant community resources that can aid in their recovery journey.
\n
• Maintain diligent and confidential documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline administrative tasks.

• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings to share insights and contribute to the continuous improvement of our therapeutic approaches.

• Remain informed of recent advancements and research in the field of mental health therapy, integrating new knowledge into your practice to enhance patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals from various socioeconomic backgrounds, ethnicities, and age groups. Your role will be pivotal in addressing the unique mental health needs presented by each patient, ultimately helping them to develop coping strategies and improve their overall mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in Massachusetts.
\n
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Demonstrated experience with delivering therapeutic services, both individually and in group settings, to a diverse population.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong focus on patient-centered care.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer applications.
\n
• A collaborative spirit and a commitment to working effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, ideally with a focus on outpatient mental health care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
