Work Environment\n

This role is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your work location while maintaining professional responsibilities. Our team operates in an extremely collaborative virtual environment, where communication tools and platforms facilitate real-time interactions and support. We maintain a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and may occasionally adjust hours based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments that consider the cultural context of each patient, enabling the development of personalized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions and utilize various modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused techniques, tailored to individual client backgrounds.
\n
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions focusing on mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure that comprehensive and coordinated care plans are developed and executed effectively.
\n
• Facilitate crisis intervention services and provide immediate support for clients experiencing psychological emergencies to stabilize and create safety plans.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, effective coping strategies, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure ethical guidelines are followed at all times.

• Actively contribute to case discussions, team meetings and participate in ongoing training to enhance cultural competency and therapeutic skills.

• Stay abreast of current research trends, best practices, and cultural considerations in mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a recognized and accredited institution.

• Valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

• Proven ability to deliver individual and group counseling using culturally responsive methodologies.
\n
• In-depth understanding of mental health disorders, therapeutic approaches, and crisis intervention techniques.
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills along with the capability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds and build meaningful therapeutic relationships.

• Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems to ensure efficient documentation and continuity of care.

• Commitment to maintaining ethical standards, confidentiality, and professional integrity in all interactions.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a mental health counselor.

• Experience working in a community health setting or with underserved populations is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
