Work Environment\n

This telehealth position provides the flexibility to work remotely from the comfort of your own home while staying connected with our supportive team. Our practice embraces technology, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain patient confidentiality and streamline workflow. Our operational hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility needed to accommodate patient schedules and needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and current emotional states, enabling tailored therapeutic strategies.

• Develop individualized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery, resilience, and overall mental wellness.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), delivering effective intervention and support.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients in exploring their trauma, developing coping mechanisms, and promoting emotional healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and integrated patient care, focusing on the best interest of our clients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring safety and emotional stability for affected individuals.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and valuable community resources to support recovery outside of therapy sessions.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation consistent with legal and ethical guidelines for mental health practices.

• Engage in case consultations, participate in case discussions, and contribute to team meetings that enhance trauma-informed care before treatment.

• Stay current with emerging research and best practices in trauma therapy, actively integrating new findings into clinical practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily centers around serving individuals coping with various trauma-related issues, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. As a mental health therapist, you will work closely with a diverse patient population, helping them navigate their unique experiences and fostering a safe space for open discussions about their healing journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a related mental health setting is preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Proficiency in employing trauma-focused therapies and intervention strategies.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in general computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
