Key Responsibilities\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population reflecting the rich community of Bakersfield, California. Clients may present with various mental health challenges, ranging from anxiety and depressive disorders to trauma-related issues and relationship difficulties. By employing person-centered approaches, you will foster a therapeutic environment that recognizes each client's unique experiences and needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• An active license/certification in California as either an LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT is essential to practice in this role.

• A minimum of two years’ experience in providing mental health counseling to individuals facing emotional or psychological challenges is necessary.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills that allow for rapid rapport-building and therapeutic alliance with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Experience with electronic medical records and telehealth systems is preferred, although not required.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The expected salary range for this position is between USD 120,000 and 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
