This role is entirely remote, utilizing telehealth technology to connect with clients. You will have the flexibility to work from your home while receiving support from a collaborative team of mental health professionals. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients’ histories and treatment needs, ensuring accurate and effective care planning.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based strategies focused on trauma recovery and personal resilience.

• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, providing clients with tools to process their trauma and establish healthy coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to offer integrated treatment, enhancing the scope of care for each patient.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating both competence and empathy in high-pressure situations.

• Educate clients and their support networks regarding trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources to foster a supportive community.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation to comply with legal and ethical standards, ensuring the integrity of patient information.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on patients who are navigating the aftermath of trauma. This includes individuals suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. The goal is to equip these clients with the tools they need to reclaim control over their lives, transform their narratives, and achieve lasting recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a relevant mental health setting is preferred.

• Strong understanding of trauma-focused therapies and a commitment to employing trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates with unique expertise in trauma therapy or specialized methodologies will be viewed favorably. Experience in a telehealth environment is a plus, given the remote nature of this position.

Compensation and Benefits\n
