Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and maintain thorough documentation through every phase of treatment, from initial consultation to conclusion.

• Evaluate clients' emotional, behavioral, and psychological health using evidence-based assessments and observations.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that incorporate individual, group, and family therapy strategies in alignment with clients' specific needs.

• Facilitate effective individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic techniques and methods to engage clients actively.

• Regularly monitor client progress throughout their treatment journey, ensuring adjustments to intervention plans are made based on their evolving needs.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including other mental health professionals, medical doctors, nurses, and social workers to design comprehensive care plans.

• Maintain open communication with psychiatrists and attending physicians regarding clients who may require hospitalization or other specialized care.

• Identify potential barriers to recovery and proactively address behaviors and patterns that may impede progress.

• Support and educate family members and primary caregivers on managing mental health challenges and fostering a supportive home environment.

This position primarily focuses on diverse adult clients facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, particularly AVATAR or similar platforms.

• Familiarity with the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and applicable ethical guidelines.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, coupled with a genuine empathetic approach to client care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
