Premise Therapy Center is actively seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic team. Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing flexibility for our therapists to manage their schedules while ensuring availability for patient appointments. Our collaborative outpatient office environment encourages ongoing communication and professional growth, providing oversight and support as you navigate your daily responsibilities. Therapists are expected to be available Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Conducting thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients’ histories and identify suitable treatment methodologies.

• Developing tailored treatment plans designed to promote trauma recovery, integrating various therapeutic approaches.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to assist patients in their recovery process.

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions that encourage emotional processing, coping strategy development, and healing.

• Collaborating effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and continuity of treatment for each patient.

• Providing crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies to ensure immediate support.

• Educating patients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources.

• Maintaining precise and confidential documentation that complies with legal and ethical standards, ensuring both transparency and accountability.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with patients who have experienced various forms of trauma, requiring a nuanced understanding and extensive skill set to help guide them on their recovery pathways. Our patient population includes individuals with PTSD, complex trauma histories, and dissociative disorders, necessitating a compassionate, patient-centered approach to therapy.

Qualifications\n

The following qualifications are essential for candidates applying to this position:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge and understanding of trauma-related disorders.

• Proficient understanding of trauma-informed treatment modalities and resiliency-building practices.

• Effective interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.

• The ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-stress situations.

• Technological proficiency, especially with electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer applications relevant to patient care.

Preferred Experience\n
