Work Environment\n

This full-time position allows you to work remotely from the comfort of your home. As part of our community health clinic, you will have access to a wealth of resources and support systems designed to facilitate a successful therapeutic experience for you and your patients. While you primarily engage with clients virtually, you will also collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and nurses to coordinate patient care effectively.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments for new clients to identify unique needs and develop tailored treatment plans that align with evidence-based practices.

• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to deliver individual, couples, and family therapy.
\n
• Facilitate psychoeducational sessions and support groups focused on common mental health issues, fostering patient engagement and community support.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention services to clients experiencing acute mental health episodes, ensuring immediate support and follow-up care.
\n
• Teach clients about their mental health conditions, treatment alternatives, and community resources for additional support.
\n
• Document all patient interactions in compliance with HIPAA regulations using our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and continuous learning opportunities to maintain high standards of care.

• Stay informed on recent research developments and best practices in mental health therapy to enhance the therapeutic process.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele affected by a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders. Our patient population primarily consists of individuals seeking outpatient care who may benefit from collaborative treatment approaches and meaningful therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
\n
• Strong awareness of mental health disorders and relevant evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Proven experience in conducting mental health assessments and formulating effective treatment plans.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interactions with clients and team members.
\n
• Ability to practice sound clinical judgment while adhering to ethical and professional boundaries.

• Competence in using electronic health record systems and related computer applications for documentation and patient management.

• Capacity to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team framework.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with varied populations, including culturally diverse and underserved communities.

• Prior experience delivering therapy in an outpatient setting is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
