Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to understand each client’s unique trauma history and develop tailored treatment strategies.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery, resilience-building, and the client’s personal goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, encouraging clients to express their emotions and develop effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to provide integrated care that addresses the full spectrum of clients’ needs.

• Provide crisis intervention support to clients facing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring they receive immediate assistance.

• Educate clients and their families on the impact of trauma, coping mechanisms, and available support resources.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in alignment with legal and ethical standards while utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to stay current on trauma-informed practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals affected by trauma, including those diagnosed with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. The clients you serve will range from adolescents to adults, all seeking a path to healing and recovery. As a mental health therapist, your empathetic approach and specialized training will significantly impact their journey towards emotional wellness.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Colorado is required.

• Proven expertise in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a therapeutic setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
