This is a full-time position allowing for a flexible work schedule, set in a fully remote telehealth format. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories and current mental health needs.

• Design and execute personalized treatment plans aimed at helping clients build resilience and navigate their trauma recovery journey.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate client healing.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions, offering a supportive space for clients to process their trauma and develop effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and specialists, to ensure that each client receives holistic and integrated care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and ongoing support during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on understanding trauma responses and coping mechanisms, as well as available resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, using our designated electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and trainings focused on best practices within trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed about the latest research in trauma therapy to continually enhance treatment efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of your practice will be on individuals impacted by trauma, which may encompass a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences. You will engage with clients grappling with PTSD, complex trauma histories, and dissociative disorders. By tailoring your approach to meet each client's unique needs, you will significantly contribute to their recovery, helping them to understand and process their trauma while fostering hope and healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California is necessary.

• Demonstrated expertise in trauma-related disorders, treatment modalities, and resilience-focused approaches.

• Familiarity with trauma-focused therapeutic techniques and the ability to apply them effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n
