Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your work-life balance while still fostering a collaborative team approach. Our outpatient office enhances our efforts by providing a supportive framework for individual and group sessions, enabling therapists to connect effectively with their clients. We operate Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, but some adaptability in scheduling may be required to address patient needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories and identify personalized treatment pathways.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that focus on recovery and resilience from traumatic experiences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Deliver engaging and effective individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process trauma, cultivate coping strategies, and foster emotional healing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and critical support during trauma-related emergencies to stabilize clients and ease distress.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and community resources while helping to empower them in their healing process.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards, ensuring the highest level of care.

• Contribute to case consultations and participate regularly in team meetings and professional development sessions focused on trauma-informed care strategies.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continually enhance treatment delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a member of our team, you will primarily work with individuals who have a history of trauma, including survivors of abuse, neglect, and significant stressors. Our clients often present with issues related to PTSD, complex trauma, and various dissociative disorders. Your role will be pivotal in providing a supportive and understanding relationship, where clients feel safe to explore their experiences and begin their journey towards recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and active licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• Two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling preferred, illustrating a strong foundation in trauma-informed practices.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders, along with familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and resilience-building approaches.
\n
• Proven experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions tailored to meet diverse client needs.

• Excellent interpersonal abilities and communication skills, demonstrating compassion and a non-judgmental approach toward clients.

• Capability to maintain composure in high-stress situations, utilizing effective stress-management techniques.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications, facilitating efficient documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
