Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to understand patients' histories and identify suitable treatment modalities tailored to their specific needs.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery, building resilience, and promoting self-empowerment.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to deliver effective interventions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a safe space for clients to process their trauma and constructively develop coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care as part of our broader healthcare offering.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies related to trauma, ensuring that clients receive immediate and effective assistance.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Inside Access Psychotherapy Services, you will work primarily with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including emotional abuse, physical harm, or life-altering events. Your expertise will play a crucial role in providing them with the skills and support to navigate their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.
\n
• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.

• Proven ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience in a mental health setting, particularly focusing on trauma.

• Experience utilizing trauma-focused therapies and capable of adapting therapeutic techniques to meet diverse client needs.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with relevant mental health software.

Compensation and Benefits\n
