Work Environment\n

This position offers the unique opportunity to provide remote counseling services, enabling you to work from the comfort of your home while still engaging directly with clients in a meaningful way. Our outpatient clinic operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, primarily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet patients' needs. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Recovery Mind Counseling Center, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient’s trauma history and determine effective treatment modalities.

• Developing personalized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, which may integrate approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for patients to process their experiences and learn coping strategies.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for all patients.

• Delivering crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients feel secure in moments of distress.

• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources to support recovery efforts.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential patient documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring transparency and trust in therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications\n

Candidates for this position must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, Psychologist, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Proficient understanding of various trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, marked by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
