This position operates in a fully remote telehealth setting, allowing for flexible working hours while maintaining the high standards of care we expect at Gotham Enterprises Ltd. The work schedule is primarily Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility required to meet the needs of our patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments that delve into patients' trauma histories, enabling appropriate and effective treatment planning.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on facilitating trauma recovery and enhancing resilience through evidence-based methods.

• Provide therapeutic interventions grounded in best practices, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions designed to help clients process their trauma experiences, refine coping strategies, and promote emotional healing.

• Maintain constant collaboration with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for each patient.

• Offer crisis intervention support during emergencies related to trauma incidents, ensuring patients feel supported and heard.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and community resources available to aid in their recovery journey.

• Document all patient interactions accurately and confidentially in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Actively participate in professional development initiatives focused on trauma-informed practices, ensuring continuous growth and up-to-date knowledge in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will specifically focus on treating individuals affected by various forms of trauma, including veterans, survivors of domestic violence, and those experiencing PTSD. Our practice values a trauma-informed approach, prioritizing safety, empowerment, and collaboration with our clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Arizona.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a relevant mental health practice setting is preferred.

• Strong expertise in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed therapeutic techniques.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor when working with clients.

• Proficiency in EHR systems and adherence to relevant legal and ethical standards for patient care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
