Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and identify effective treatment paths.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at fostering recovery and resilience among patients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions that help clients process their trauma, develop coping strategies, and enhance their emotional well-being.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to create an integrated approach to patient care, ensuring all therapeutic interventions align with the clients' needs.

• Provide crisis intervention support in situations related to trauma to ensure client safety and stabilization.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on treating individuals affected by a variety of trauma-related disorders, primarily post-traumatic stress disorder, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will work with clients of diverse backgrounds, each with unique experiences and recovery needs, and your role will involve tailoring therapy to resonate with each individual’s life circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Excellent interpersonal skills along with a compassionate and non-judgmental disposition.

• Proficient with electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications to manage client information effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
