Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' trauma histories and identify suitable treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on recovery from trauma, strength-building, and improving coping mechanisms.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic methods, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to meet the unique needs of each patient.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that encourage open discussion, promote healing, and equip patients with effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and support staff, to provide integrated care and ensure holistic treatment plans.

• Offer crisis intervention in high-stress situations, providing immediate support and reassurance to patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on working with adults and adolescents who have experienced various forms of trauma. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida is required.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
