Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to understand each patient's unique trauma history and treatment needs.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at both trauma recovery and long-term resilience, drawing from a range of evidence-based practices.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing recognized therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to offer integrated care that addresses both psychological and medical needs.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring they feel safe and supported.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms, empowering them with knowledge and resources.

This position primarily focuses on trauma survivors, including individuals dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and various dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas.

• A strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on a non-judgmental, empathetic approach to care.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we value candidates with a strong foundation in trauma-focused therapies and who demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development. Experience in delivering evidence-based interventions is also a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
