Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to understand clients’ backgrounds, identifying their specific needs and appropriate treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery and building resilience in clients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to guide therapeutic processes.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that empower clients to process their experiences and cultivate coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals to coordinate comprehensive care tailored to each client’s recovery journey.

• Provide crisis intervention and support for clients in crisis, employing immediate, compassionate responses to trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and coping strategies, ensuring access to valuable resources and community support.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation that meets legal, ethical, and institutional standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is working with individuals affected by trauma, including those experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oregon.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience providing mental health therapy.
