Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide crisis intervention services and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring prompt and effective care for elderly patients in distress.

• Educate patients and their families about available mental health resources, treatment options, and coping strategies to foster understanding and support.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in alignment with legal and ethical standards to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is the geriatric population, addressing a diverse range of mental health issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, Alzheimer’s disease, and other dementia-related disorders. The therapist will play a crucial role in helping our elderly clients navigate their mental health challenges, improving their quality of life through compassionate care and effective interventions.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and active license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Oregon is required.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
