Key Responsibilities\n

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups that foster community engagement and address prevalent mental health concerns.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists and psychologists to ensure integrated patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services and immediate support during mental health emergencies, effectively de-escalating critical situations.

• Educate patients on mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and available community resources, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Therapist at Life Works Psychiatric Center, you will primarily work with a diverse range of clients facing various mental health challenges. This includes children, adolescents, adults, and families from different cultural backgrounds, allowing you to apply your unique skills to help individuals navigate their unique life circumstances. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Oregon.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidenced-based therapeutic modalities.

• Demonstrated experience conducting thorough assessments and developing effective treatment strategies.
\n
• Proficient in delivering therapeutic services both individually and in group settings to a variety of populations.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, combined with the ability to communicate effectively and maintain professional relationships.

• Sound ethical judgment and commitment to maintaining professional boundaries.

• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems to document patient interactions accurately.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating a solid track record of effective therapy and client engagement.

Compensation and Benefits\n
