Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each individual's trauma history and current mental health status, forming a foundation for effective treatment.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on enhancing resilience and promoting long-term recovery.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to meet clients' unique needs.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients in processing trauma, developing coping strategies, and fostering healing.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other health professionals to provide integrated and comprehensive care for clients.
\n
• Facilitate crisis intervention services for clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate support and guidance.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and coping strategies, empowering them with resources and knowledge.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements, ensuring high-quality record-keeping.
\n
• Engage in regular team meetings and case consultations to enhance clinical practice and professional development within a trauma-informed care framework.

• Stay updated on the latest research, treatment strategies, and best practices related to trauma therapy to continuously enhance your clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily support individuals grappling with a range of trauma-related challenges, including PTSD, effects of complex trauma, and other dissociative disorders. Your compassion and expertise will serve to create a supportive atmosphere where patients feel safe to explore their experiences and work towards recovery. You will be instrumental in improving their mental health outcomes through targeted interventions that resonate with their unique personal histories.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW) in Massachusetts.

• At least two years of post-licensure experience working in mental health settings, particularly with trauma-related disorders.

• An understanding of trauma-informed practices and resilience-building techniques is essential.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to client care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
