Work Environment\n

This position operates within a telehealth framework, allowing you to connect with clients remotely while maintaining a balanced work-life dynamic. Our regular business hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, providing a structured schedule that promotes productivity and personal well-being.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' symptoms of eating disorders and any co-occurring mental health conditions, ensuring thorough understanding of their treatment needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's specific circumstances, collaborating closely with them to establish clear and achievable recovery goals.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in therapy sessions.

• Facilitate therapeutic conversations to help clients confront and reframe distorted beliefs surrounding body image, food, and self-esteem.

• Assist clients in building healthy coping mechanisms and emotional regulation skills to combat disordered eating behaviors effectively.
\n
• Work alongside a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure coordinated care, addressing each client's holistic needs and progress.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, enhancing understanding of eating disorders and creating a supportive home environment to aid recovery.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case conferences, and continuous professional development activities to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge specific to eating disorder treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will involve working with clients of diverse backgrounds who are grappling with various eating disorders, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge-eating disorder. Understanding the complex nature of these disorders and the multifaceted challenges they present will be critical to providing effective support and guidance tailored to each individual.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Massachusetts.
\n
• Strong expertise in evidence-based therapeutic modalities for eating disorders, particularly CBT, DBT, and ACT.

• A deep understanding of the complexities associated with eating disorders and their co-occurring mental health conditions.

• Exceptional communication skills, fostering the ability to build trust and establish rapport with clients while maintaining a client-centered approach.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting focusing on mental health and eating disorder treatment.

• Experience in family therapy or group therapy strategies.

• An annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 104,000, commensurate with experience and specialization.
