This role is primarily remote, offering you the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your home while being part of a supportive and collaborative team. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to better understand each patient's history and treatment needs.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans focused on facilitating trauma recovery and promoting resilience among patients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), ensuring that sessions are both effective and supportive.

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions, helping patients process their trauma experiences, develop healthy coping strategies, and advance in their healing journey.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other health professionals, to create a seamless care experience for patients.

• Address crisis situations with appropriate intervention strategies, offering support during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma, coping mechanisms, and available resources to empower them in their recovery process.

• Maintain thorough, confidential documentation to comply with legal and ethical standards governing mental health practices.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and continued education to enhance trauma-informed care practices across the center.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma treatment to continuously improve therapeutic efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be engaging with individuals who have experienced significant trauma and who require specialized mental health support to navigate their experiences and build pathways to recovery. You will work closely with a diverse client base, addressing their unique trauma histories and recovery goals with empathy and professionalism.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington State.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Demonstrated experience delivering therapies designed for trauma recovery.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills marked by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to patient care.

• The ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations, ensuring patient safety and support.
\n
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant therapeutic software.

• Strong ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of post-licensure experience is the minimum requirement, experience working specifically with trauma-informed care, knowledge of current trauma therapies, and a track record of successful patient outcomes will be valued highly in our selection process.

Compensation and Benefits\n
