Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' backgrounds and identify their treatment needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeted at trauma recovery and resilience building, adapting interventions as progress dictates.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in both individual and group therapy settings.

• Lead therapy sessions focused on helping patients process trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and foster long-lasting healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care, ensuring that all aspects of a patient's well-being are addressed.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, guiding patients through acute stress responses.

• Educate patients and their families about understanding trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms while offering resources for further support.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards to support patient care.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development training focused on trauma-informed care best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily involve working with individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including children and adults suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, or dissociative disorders. You will contribute positively to their recovery journeys through tailored therapeutic techniques and compassionate support, promoting mental and emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

• Educational Background: Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Licensure: Must hold current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.

• Experience: A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience working directly in a clinical setting, with specific focus on trauma is preferred.

• Knowledge and Skills: In-depth understanding of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and resilience strategies.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to care.

• Ability to work effectively even under high-stress conditions, maintaining a calm demeanor and professional integrity.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
