Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate and understand patients' trauma histories and care needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on each patient's unique journey towards recovery and resilience, incorporating approaches like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that enable patients to process their trauma experiences and cultivate effective coping strategies.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention support and respond effectively during trauma-related emergencies, employing appropriate therapeutic techniques as needed.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to empower them in their healing process.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on individuals who have encountered various forms of trauma, including veterans, survivors of abuse, and those navigating complex trauma situations. Your expertise as a licensed mental health therapist will be vital in helping these patients reclaim their lives and foster resilience through targeted therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.

• A foundational understanding of trauma-related disorders and the application of trauma-informed treatment modalities.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $104,000 yearly, commensurate with experience.
