Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, providing therapists the ability to conduct sessions from their home or other private settings, thus promoting a comfortable space for clients to discuss their experiences. Our team operates Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a degree of flexibility based on patient demands. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to accurately understand clients' trauma histories and identify personalized treatment strategies.

• Creating and implementing tailored treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, resilience building, and personal empowerment.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Working collaboratively with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide integrated and holistic care.

• Providing immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients feel safe and supported.

• Educating clients and their families about trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms, enhancing their understanding of available resources and support.

• Maintaining detailed records and documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

Your role will significantly impact survivors of various trauma experiences, including those with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will directly contribute to the healing process, utilizing trauma-informed practices to help clients navigate their challenges, develop coping skills, and foster resilience against future stressors.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure professional experience, demonstrating competence in trauma-informed care methodologies.

• Extensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective treatment approaches tailored to individual needs.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure efficient management and confidentiality of client information.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• A strong capacity to remain composed and constructive in high-stress scenarios, fostering a sense of safety for clients.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
