Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's history and current mental health status, identifying appropriate, personalized treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and build resilience, engaging in regular reviews to adjust to patient needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to guide patients through their healing processes.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions designed to help patients articulate their experiences, learn coping strategies, and promote healing in a supportive group dynamic.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive integrated, comprehensive care tailored to their unique needs.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention when needed, offering support during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and the resources available to them, fostering an informed community for mental health.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring continuity of care.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in team meetings and case consultations focused on trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Washington State.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment techniques, demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning in the field.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, possessing a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor that fosters trust among patients.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer applications relevant to telehealth practices.

Preferred Experience\n
