Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients’ substance use history and co-occurring mental health conditions.

• Create personalized treatment plans that address both addiction and underlying psychological issues, setting achievable goals for recovery.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on adult clients struggling with substance abuse and addiction issues. You will be working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and varying degrees of substance use, including alcohol, prescription medications, and other illicit substances. The role requires a strong understanding of the biopsychosocial model of addiction and the ability to provide culturally competent care that recognizes the unique challenges faced by different populations.

Qualifications\n

• A valid mental health license such as LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits\n
