Work Environment\n

This position operates in a remote setting, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a connection to our outpatient office. You will work alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and fellow therapists, promoting integrated care approaches for our patients. The workweek is structured from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet the needs of patients, ensuring the therapy schedules can accommodate those seeking assistance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to thoroughly evaluate patients' trauma histories and mental health needs, thus facilitating tailored treatment approaches.

• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans, focusing on trauma recovery while fostering resilience and coping strategies.

• Provide therapeutic interventions based on evidence-based practices, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions that promote healing, encourage the processing of traumatic experiences, and support patients in developing effective coping strategies.

• Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for all patients, bridging any gaps between psychotherapy and psychiatry.

• Assist in crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, enabling swift and effective responses to critical situations.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, available coping mechanisms, and community resources essential for recovery.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in full compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring the integrity of patient information.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals of diverse backgrounds who have experienced various forms of trauma. This includes adults, children, and families dealing with the repercussions of adverse experiences, PTSD, and complex trauma scenarios. A focus on individualized care ensures that each patient's unique experiences and histories are thoughtfully considered in their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.

• Two years of post-licensure experience preferred, contributing to a well-rounded understanding of trauma-informed care.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective treatment modalities focused on promoting resilience.

• Experience with delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions that foster healing and recovery.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with patients compassionately and non-judgmentally.

• Capacity to maintain composure in high-stress situations while providing support to patients.

• Proficiency using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team framework.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers an annual salary range of $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
