Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to gain insight into the patient's trauma history and determine tailored treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are focused on trauma recovery and the cultivation of resilience in each patient.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), adapting them to meet the unique needs of each individual.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma, enhance coping strategies, and promote overall healing.

• Work in close collaboration with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure a unified and integrated approach to patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on serving a diverse clientele affected by a variety of trauma-related issues. Patients may struggle with PTSD, complex trauma, or dissociative disorders, and range in age, background, and life experiences. You will play a pivotal role in guiding them through their healing journeys, supporting their growth and helping them reclaim their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Ability to provide trauma-focused therapies with experience applied in real-world scenarios.

• Proficient interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy, a non-judgmental approach, and the capacity to maintain professional composure in high-stress situations.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications is essential.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting where trauma-informed care principles were effectively employed is strongly preferred. This experience will enable you to navigate the complexities of trauma therapy confidently and competently.
