Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions utilizing methods that align with personalized treatment plans.

• Perform comprehensive bio-psycho-social assessments to identify client needs and develop tailored therapeutic approaches.

• Equip clients with essential coping techniques and social skills, focusing on areas such as anger management and risk behavior mitigation.

• Guide clients and their families through decision-making processes to enhance management of in-home behavioral challenges.

• Collaborate regularly with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of consistent, comprehensive care for clients and their families.

• Maintain accurate documentation, including intake forms, treatment plans, DAP (Data, Assessment, Plan) notes, and other required paperwork, submitting them within specified timeframes.

• Participate in monthly team meetings and ensure the submission of weekly reports to track progress and patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on providing therapeutic support to adults experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Therapists will engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences, utilizing culturally competent practices to meet the unique needs of each client. Qualifications\n

• Must possess a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or a related field.

• Demonstrate clinical mental health training and practical field experience post-internship, specifically with the adult population.

Preferred Experience\n

• Completion of Crisis Intervention Training or willingness to undergo training.

• Proficient in treatment planning, goal setting, and documenting progress through treatment notes and assessments.

• Experience with various therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Gestalt Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Informed Care.

• Ability to utilize the DSM-V for accurate assessments and diagnoses.

• Experience in providing positive behavior support techniques.
\n
