This full-time remote position requires an individual who is Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform thorough assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, using diagnostic tools and interviews.

• Collaborate with clients to craft personalized treatment plans tailored to their individual therapeutic goals, preferences, and circumstances.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address mood disorders effectively.

• Provide educational resources to clients and their families on mood disorders, available treatment options, and personal self-care strategies for improved mental health.

• Monitor client progress throughout treatment, adjusting intervention strategies as necessary to best meet each client’s evolving needs.

• Engage with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals within an interdisciplinary team to ensure integrated care approaches for clients.

• Remain informed about the latest developments in mood disorder treatments and research to enhance personal practice and client outcomes.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation regarding client sessions, treatment plans, and assessments in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Actively participate in case collaboration and professional development activities aimed at refining clinical skills and knowledge.

• Serve as a patient advocate, working towards reducing the stigma surrounding mental health challenges and promoting the importance of mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily focus on clients dealing with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. The diverse backgrounds of our clients require sensitivity and adaptability in your therapeutic approach, ensuring respect for various cultural perspectives and individual experiences. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.

• A minimum of three years of post-licensure experience, specifically addressing mood disorders and associated symptoms.

• Proficient in using evidence-based therapeutic techniques, particularly CBT and DBT.

• Strong familiarity with psychopharmacology and an ability to collaboratively work with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of establishing rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Two years or more of focused clinical experience with mood disorders is preferred, demonstrating a proven track record of successful client outcomes.

Empower Path Counseling is proud to offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
