Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients’ trauma histories and formulate appropriate treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on promoting recovery and resilience, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities.

• Deliver evidence-based interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), catered to the unique needs of each client.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process trauma, develop effective coping mechanisms, and foster healing.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary professionals to ensure holistic and integrative care for clients.

• Offer crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating urgency and compassion in high-stress situations.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available mental health resources, empowering them to participate in their healing process.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards pertaining to mental health practice.

• Engage in case consultations, participate in team meetings, and take part in ongoing professional development focused on trauma-informed care techniques.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to continuously enhance the effectiveness of patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients our counselors serve primarily include individuals coping with the aftermath of trauma, including survivors of abuse, military veterans, and those suffering from PTSD and dissociative disorders. Your role will be integral in helping them navigate their emotional and psychological challenges, ultimately supporting their journey toward healing and recovery.

Qualifications\n

To succeed in this role, candidates should have:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience preferred, showcasing a solid foundation in trauma-informed practices.

• Extensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and the ability to implement trauma-informed treatment modalities effectively.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, combined with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions is highly preferred. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and an ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
