Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and interviews to understand the needs and concerns of new clients, ensuring a tailored therapeutic approach.

• Develop and maintain thorough progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, working collaboratively with clients to track their growth and development throughout the therapeutic process.

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions, applying evidence-based practices and methodologies to ensure effective treatment outcomes.

• Coordinate specialized programs within the Behavioral Health Department, ensuring oversight and management to deliver structured mental health services.

• Engage in outreach activities to develop community resources aimed at expanding access to preventive mental health services and addressing stigma.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client population, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and co-occurring disorders. Your role will require a deep understanding of how these issues intersect with personal experiences, ensuring that each session is tailored to meet the unique needs of your clients.

Qualifications\n

• A completed Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required for this position.

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• At least two (2) years of hands-on experience in providing mental health services, with a focus on crisis management and therapeutic intervention.

• Strong understanding of addiction issues, and their relationship to psychotherapy and client progress.
\n
• Demonstrated respect for clients, colleagues, and supervisees, fostering an environment of empathy and professional growth.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in outpatient mental health settings and prior experience with trauma-informed care.

• Knowledge of community mental health resources and ability to refer clients to appropriate support systems.
