Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic modalities tailored to the unique needs of each client.

• Monitor client progress through the treatment plan, adjusting approaches as necessary to promote optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical professionals, to develop comprehensive intervention strategies.

• Perform regular follow-ups with attending physicians regarding clients admitted to local hospitals, ensuring continuity of care.

• Identify potential obstacles to recovery, proactively addressing behavioral or emotional challenges that may arise.

• Engage with family members and primary caregivers, providing guidance and support in managing mental health challenges within the home environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients represent a diverse range of ages and backgrounds, seeking assistance for various mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field; a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or similar is preferred.

• Experience working as a Mental Health Counselor or in a similar role, demonstrating your ability to provide therapeutic services.

• Thorough understanding of the effects of psychotropic medications and their implications for treatment.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and colleagues.

• Strong interpersonal skills characterized by empathy, patience, and an understanding nature.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) within the state of Washington.
