Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand each patient’s unique trauma history, which is essential for identifying appropriate therapeutic approaches.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans centered on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and coping strategies.

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions utilizing effective evidence-based interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other members of the multidisciplinary team to coordinate integrated care and ensure that every aspect of the patient's needs is met.

• Offer crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate and appropriate responses to safeguard patient well-being.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and available coping mechanisms, aiding in their understanding and involvement in the recovery process.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing our advanced EHR systems efficiently.

• Participate actively in ongoing case consultations and professional development activities focused on enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve engaging with trauma survivors, including individuals dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. This role requires a deep understanding of the impacts of trauma on mental health and the ability to employ therapeutic interventions that facilitate healing and resilience. You will foster empowering relationships with clients, supporting them through some of their most challenging moments.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Pennsylvania is required.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling role is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to client care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
