Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to understand patients’ trauma histories, developing tailored treatment plans aimed at fostering recovery and empowerment.

• Implement a range of evidence-based therapies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Engage with patients to establish therapeutic rapport, enabling safe spaces for healing and open discussions about their trauma.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention as necessary, equipping patients with immediate coping mechanisms and support during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about the effects of trauma on mental health, offering resources and coping strategies to facilitate their understanding and recovery journey.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with ethical standards while keeping abreast of legal requirements in mental health practice.

• Participate in regular team meetings, case consultations, and continuous professional development focused on trauma-informed care to remain informed about advancements in therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on supporting individuals who have experienced trauma, including veterans, survivors of abuse, those with complex PTSD, and clients facing dissociative disorders. Your work will be instrumental in helping these individuals navigate their challenges, rebuild resilience, and ultimately improve their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Arizona.

• Ability to demonstrate knowledge of trauma-informed treatment modalities and approaches.

• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills to build strong therapeutic relationships.

• Proficiency in electronic health records systems and familiarity with digital documentation practices.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, ideally with a focus on trauma-related disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
