The Outlet Youth & Family Support Counseling Center is on the lookout for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our remote team. Work Environment\n

This position will primarily operate in a telehealth setting, allowing for flexibility and ensuring that our clients can access care from the comfort of their homes. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ histories and formulate appropriate treatment plans.

• Create and implement individualized therapy strategies that are centered on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and fostering coping skills.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to support patient healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, aiding clients in processing their experiences and developing effective coping mechanisms.

• Integrate crisis intervention techniques to assist patients during traumatic emergencies and provide support during critical moments.

• Engage in educational sessions with patients and their families, helping them understand trauma responses and the resources available to them.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards to ensure the highest quality of care.

• Participate in ongoing professional development through case consultations and team meetings focused on trauma-informed care advancements.

• Stay updated on the latest research, practices, and methodologies in trauma therapy to continually enhance the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on serving individuals affected by trauma, including children, adolescents, and adults. Clients may present with a range of challenges stemming from PTSD, complex trauma, and associated mental health issues. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Arizona.

• Proficient knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Competence in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions that enhance patient outcomes.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrated through a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to patient care.

• Ability to remain composed within high-pressure situations and provide stability for clients.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer systems to manage patient records effectively.

• A collaborative mindset, willing to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, particularly in trauma-focused therapy environments.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, reflecting the experience and skill set that you bring to this critical role.
