Work Environment\n

As a remote position, this role offers the flexibility of telehealth services, allowing you to provide care from the comfort of your home. Your standard work hours will be Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, although some flexibility may be required based on patient needs. The telehealth format allows for an innovative approach to therapy, enabling timely access to care and support for families and individuals navigating trauma recovery.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' backgrounds, histories, and specific needs in order to implement effective treatment plans.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and the building of resilience, tailored to each patient's unique circumstances.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing and coping mechanisms.

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions focused on helping patients process their trauma and develop effective coping strategies.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other clinical professionals to ensure an integrated and holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients receive immediate and compassionate care.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participate in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to discussions that promote continuous learning and trauma-informed care.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to deliver the highest quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus primarily on individuals who have experienced trauma, including survivors of abuse, neglect, and other adverse experiences that significantly impact mental health. With a commitment to inclusivity and cultural competency, you will provide therapy to a diverse population, addressing a range of psychological issues including PTSD, anxiety, depression, and dissociative disorders.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Strong background knowledge in trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and resilience-building approaches.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and empathetic demeanor.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems, with a working knowledge of standard computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, preferably in trauma-focused therapy.

• Experience implementing trauma-focused therapies and interventions is highly desirable.

• Ability to manage high-stress situations calmly and effectively, demonstrating resilience and level-headedness.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
