Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking motivated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapists to join our team in a full-time capacity. In this key role, you will be part of a dynamic outpatient psychiatric practice located in Wappingers Falls, New York, dedicated to improving the mental health and well-being of our clients.

Work Environment\n

This position will be primarily remote, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance, yet you will also have opportunities to engage directly with clients in our outpatient facility when necessary. Our office operates on a standard Monday to Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate the varying needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify each patient’s unique needs and collaboratively develop tailored treatment plans.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, and families, employing techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.

• Facilitate psychoeducational groups and support groups aimed at addressing common mental health concerns while fostering a sense of community among participants.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other team members to create a holistic approach to patient care, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of services.

• Respond to mental health crises promptly, providing immediate intervention and support to clients in acute distress.
\n
• Educate patients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment options available, and community resources to promote informed decision-making.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with applicable legal and ethical standards, leveraging electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.

• Actively engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to enhance professional growth and collectively address patient care challenges.

• Continuously update your knowledge of current research and advancements in the field, ensuring the highest level of care is delivered.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing a wide spectrum of mental health issues. Your ability to connect with clients from various backgrounds will be essential, as you will be instrumental in guiding them through their healing journeys and contributing to improved mental wellness outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• At least 2 years of experience in a mental health counselor role, demonstrating proficiency in therapeutic techniques and methodologies.

• Possession of a current and valid state licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT.
\n
• A solid understanding of various mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients effectively.

• Sound judgment with an unwavering commitment to ethical practice and professionalism.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other computer applications relevant to clinical practice.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to a positive work atmosphere.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in providing both individual and group therapy, particularly with adult and adolescent populations, is highly preferred. A background in crisis intervention and care coordination can also be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n
