Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Creating and implementing personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices, tailored specifically to each client.

• Facilitating in-person and remote counseling sessions for individuals, couples, families, or groups, ensuring that each client feels heard and supported in a safe space.

• Staying abreast of the latest research and advancements in mental health therapies and integrating applicable findings into your practice.

• Maintaining accurate, up-to-date client records, including documentation of therapy sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes, in compliance with ethical guidelines and standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on supporting cancer patients and their families through various stages of care, including diagnosis, treatment, survivorship, and end-of-life situations. You will be equipped to address psychosocial and behavioral health concerns arising from the emotional toll of cancer, fostering resilience and coping strategies among clients and their loved ones.

Qualifications\n

We are seeking a licensed professional who meets the following qualifications:

• Active licensure in social work or counseling (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) as per Washington state regulations.

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related discipline.

• Exceptional communication skills, demonstrating the ability to convey information concisely while actively listening and incorporating feedback from clients.

• A proven history of no medical malpractice claims, verified by a third party.

• Authorization to work in the U.S.
