Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide direct counseling services and crisis intervention for patients, carefully assessing and addressing their emotional and behavioral issues.

• Maintain open lines of communication with physicians to relay patient progress and highlight any emerging needs or concerns that may influence treatment.

• Document clinical and progress records accurately and promptly, adhering to departmental policies and compliance regulations.
\n
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive treatment and discharge plans based on in-depth psychosocial assessments.

• Engage with community resource groups, representing Bedford Healthcare Center at local meetings and committees to advocate for our patients’ social needs and access to services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role primarily focuses on a diverse patient population dealing with various mental health challenges. You will work closely with individuals who may be battling anxiety, depression, substance use issues, and other emotional disorders. Your individualized approach will foster an environment where clients can express their thoughts and feelings, facilitating significant breakthroughs on their paths to recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.

• A valid independent license is essential; candidates must hold one of the following: Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A minimum of 2 years of professional mental health counseling experience is required, demonstrating a solid foundation in therapeutic practices.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in an outpatient setting with a focus on recovery-oriented therapy approaches is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
