Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to evaluate client treatment needs, utilizing the Integrated Biopsychosocial Assessment framework.

• Formulate mental health diagnoses in accordance with the DSM-5 criteria, ensuring individualized and evidence-based treatment plans for all patients.

• Provide a range of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), supportive counseling, and crisis intervention, tailored to the unique circumstances of each client.

• Oversee and mentor Mental Health Workers and therapy assistants, ensuring high standards of care and the provision of evidence-based practices.

• Collaborate with community professionals to create cross-system treatment plans that enhance the overall support network for clients.

• Staying abreast of current research and techniques in mental health to inform clinical practices, including the effective management of co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will primarily work with clients from various socio-economic backgrounds, focusing on those facing challenges related to maternal health and medically underserved populations. Your role is critical in bridging the gap in mental health access, advocating for and supporting individuals recovering from trauma, anxiety, depression, and related issues.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD) from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits\n
